How metal-alloy construction, dedicated testing personnel, 100% finished-product inspection, and additional validation tests help support reliable pneumatic performance.

The quality of a pneumatic product depends on more than its external appearance. Body material, sealing performance, pressure stability, assembly quality, and internal structure all influence how the product performs after installation. At IVOMATION, the main bodies of our pneumatic products are manufactured from aluminum alloy or zinc alloy, depending on the product series and application. We also have dedicated quality-control and testing personnel responsible for inspecting finished products before they are approved for packaging and shipment.

Metal-Alloy Product Construction

Material selection is an important part of pneumatic product reliability. IVOMATION uses aluminum alloy or zinc alloy for the main bodies of its pneumatic products. These materials provide good structural strength, dimensional stability, and resistance to the pressure and mechanical demands of normal pneumatic applications. Some lower-cost products on the market may use plastic, plastic-steel composite, or other non-metal materials for major structural components. These materials can reduce weight and manufacturing cost, but they may not provide the same rigidity, impact resistance, thread strength, or long-term stability as a properly manufactured metal-alloy body. The appropriate material still depends on the product type and application. However, for air filters, regulators, lubricators, and other air-preparation components, a stable metal body helps support secure connections and consistent performance during repeated use.

Dedicated Testing Personnel

IVOMATION has dedicated quality-control and testing personnel responsible for product inspection, functional testing, and confirmation of test results. Our testing personnel follow the applicable inspection procedures for each product type. They review product configuration, connect the product to the testing equipment, observe its operating condition, and confirm whether it meets the required inspection criteria. Having dedicated personnel responsible for these procedures helps make the testing process more consistent and reduces the risk of products being released without the necessary checks.

100% Finished-Product Testing

Every finished IVOMATION pneumatic product is inspected and tested before release. The testing procedure may include air-tightness testing, pressure adjustment checks, regulator response testing, airflow-direction confirmation, drain operation, gauge inspection, and a review of product assembly and visible condition. Air-tightness testing helps identify leakage around threaded connections, seals, bowls, gauges, valves, and other assembled areas. Pressure and functional testing help confirm that the product can operate correctly and maintain stable pressure within its intended working range. The exact procedure depends on the product model, internal structure, pressure range, and agreed order requirements. However, the objective remains the same: every finished product should be checked by our testing personnel before it is packed and delivered to the customer.

Destructive and Validation Testing

In addition to routine inspection of every finished product, IVOMATION also carries out destructive and validation testing when required. These tests may be performed on selected samples during product development, material verification, production validation, or quality review. Depending on the product, testing may examine pressure limits, bowl strength, body integrity, thread performance, sealing durability, or failure behavior under conditions beyond normal use. Because destructive testing permanently damages the tested sample, it is not performed on every product intended for delivery. Instead, selected samples are tested by our personnel to provide additional information about product construction, safety margins, and areas that may require further improvement.

Final Review Before Shipment

Before packaging, our personnel review the product model, port size, thread type, airflow direction, requested accessories, visible condition, and order configuration. For distributors, OEM customers, and ecommerce projects, consistent testing, clear product identification, and careful final review help reduce installation problems, product returns, and confusion after delivery. Our goal is not simply to make a product look complete. We focus on using reliable materials, assigning dedicated personnel to product testing, inspecting every finished unit, and applying suitable validation methods to support dependable pneumatic performance.
